Kathy Collins, Patient Care Coordinator
Kathy has been with our office for over 20 years. Originally from Chicago, she attended high school and junior college in Chicago.
She takes pride in giving each patient a quality experience at the front desk with everything from scheduling patients’ appointments to submitting insurance claims on their behalf and making sure they are properly processed. She especially enjoys being able to do anything to help our patients be comfortable and feel at ease.
Kathy and her husband reside in Strongsville and have a wonderful daughter and son. She enjoys boating on Lake Erie in the summer and outdoor walks year round.
Lora Creed, Dental Hygienist
When you come in for a dental cleaning at Parma Ridge Family Dental, one of the people you may meet is Lora Creed, R.D.H. Lora says that she found visiting the dentist interesting starting at a very young age, and this inspired her to attend Tri-C as well as Lorain Community College as she pursued a degree in dental hygiene.
“Building relationships with patients and knowing that I have a role in keeping them healthy” are her favorite aspects of working as a hygienist, she says. Working in the field since 2003, Lora is also committed to continuing her education in order to provide patients with the highest level of care.
Lora lives in Brunswick with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys visiting with family and friends, going for walks, and reading.
Lynn Ternovan, Dental Hygienist
Lynn has 33 years of experience in the field of dentistry. She has been a practicing dental hygienist for the last 24 years and worked as a dental assistant for 9 years prior to that.
Lynn received her training in dental hygiene from Cuyahoga Community College and loves her work as a hygienist. She finds it very rewarding to be able to help patients learn good dental habits for a beautiful smile. She lives in Middleburg Heights along with her 2 teenage children – a son and a daughter.
Lynn says: “I’m glad to be a part of the Parma Ridge Family Dental team. I hope to see you soon in my chair for a healthy checkup and cleaning.”
Jackie Tanner, Dental Assistant
Jackie, our dental assistant graduated from Remington College as a dental assistant in 2012. A valuable member of our team, Jackie is eager to lend a hand wherever she is needed. Always striving to improve, she is currently working to further her career in dentistry by taking courses at Lorain Community College.
As well as loving her career, Jackie enjoys camping, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. She has a sunny personality and has a smile for everyone she meets. Jackie loves meeting new people and working with her patients.
